Knee flexion from prone

Knee flexion from prone




Goal:

-To strengthen the muscles of the back of the thigh which bends the knee joint.


Procedure:


-The patient is lying on his/her stomach while keeping both arms beside the body, and resting the feet at the edge of the treatment table.

-Raise your leg as you bend your knee joint as much as you can.
-Try to hold this position for 5-10 seconds then return to the starting position.





Notes:

-Do not do the exercises unless advised by your doctor.

-Repetitions of each exercise depend on your tolerance and condition, usually between 30-50 times.

-If you feel any pain while doing the exercises stop and ask your doctor.
