Quadratus Lumborum Exercise

Quadratus Lumborum Exercise


Goal:



-To strengthen your hip muscles, correct hip rotation deformity.


Procedure:


-Lie flat on the treatment table.


-With your feet apart and arms extended, try to reach you right knee with the right hand by laterally bending your trunk.


-Repeat the same, reaching your left knee with your left hand.







                                Notes:


-Do not rotate, turn or move your top leg during the exercise.


-Keep your legs straight.


-Do not do the exercises unless advised by your doctor.


-Repetitions of each exercise depend on your tolerance and condition, usually between 30-50 times.


-If you feel any pain while doing the exercises stop and ask your doctor.
